On October 2nd, 2019, the BIOMATLINK team had the opportunity to meet with the Deputy Minister for Digital Economy and Society, Mr. Nevin Chochaitip, to discuss the potential for digital technology in agriculture. The meeting, held at Samet Tai sub-district, Bang Khla district, Chachoengsao province, aimed to share strategies and opportunities for the use of technology in agriculture to improve productivity and efficiency.
During the meeting, the team, which was also joined by Mrs. Wannaporn Thephasadin Na Ayutthaya, Deputy Permanent Secretary and member of the ministry, had valuable discussions with the Assistant Minister on the current issues, challenges and opportunities facing the agriculture industry. The team received valuable insights on the current issues and opportunities facing the industry and identified ways to improve productivity and efficiency through technology.
In addition to the meeting, the team also visited an ICT learning center to gain a deeper understanding of the potential of digital technology in the agriculture sector. This visit provided the team with a hands-on experience and further understanding of how technology can be implemented in the agricultural sector. The meeting with the Assistant Minister and visit to the ICT learning center are steps towards our goal of improving the agricultural sector through the use of digital technology.
